Haystack Luncheon

The popular Haystack Luncheon is held annually on a Sunday in June from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Sweitzer Barn at Swiss Heritage Village & Museum. Musical entertainment is provided! The traditional haystack lunch of corn and tortilla chips and rice, topped with taco-seasoned hamburger, beans, grated cheddar cheese in combination with lettuce, tomatoes and garnished with sour cream and salsa. Dessert is the old-fashioned Swiss dish strawberry sturm. Donations for the meal are accepted at the door and funding received will be used for the continued restoration projects of our village. Our indoor museum will be open for free from 11 AM to 1 PM. Click images for larger.
